Daniella Monet: It’s Trina’s Birthweek!

 Victoria Justice clings to on-screen sister Daniella Monet in this super-cute new shot from Victorious.
In the upcoming episode “The Birthweek Song,” In Trina’s (Monet) world, her birthday is a big deal. Tori (Justice) struggles to find the perfect birthday gift for Trina, then decides to give her a gift from the heart and writes an amazing pop song for Trina as present.
An ungrateful Trina wants to know where her real gift can be found and decides to turn her birthday gift into cash by selling the song.
All the while, Robbie’s (Matthew Bennett) grandmother asks him to teach her about computers.

Victorious Premiere Claims Ratings Victory for Nickelodeon

 Victorious, Nickelodeon's new prime time action series claimed ratings victory for basic cable in the series premiere on Sunday, April 11, 2010. Victorious, starring Victoria Justice, topped all basic cable programming in its time slot of 8:00 – 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, with 3.5 million total views. The Victorious website on Nick.com also boasted strong performance on April 11, according to an April 13, 2010 press release from Nickelodeon.
Victorious follows Tori Vega (Victoria Justice) a teen who unexpectedly finds herself navigating life at an elite performing arts high school. The series features original music performed by Victoria Justice and an ensemble cast, including Daniella Monet, Leon Thonas, Elizabeth Gilles, Avan Jogio, Ariana Grande and Matthew Bennet.
After Tori's sister Trina (Daniella Monet, Nancy Drew) has a medical mishap, Tori steps in to perform Trina's song. Trina is accompanied on the piano by her musically gifted Andre (Leon Thomas, August Rush, The Lion King, iCarly). Tori's singing and dancing is impressive, so much so that the school principal offers her the opportunity of a lifetime – an invitation to become a student at Hollywood Arts High School.
Tori feels out of place from her first day at school, among the amazingly talented students. School diva Jade (Elizabeth Gilles, Broadway's acclaimed 13) is especially mean to Tori. With the help of Trina, Andre and her new friends, including brooding bad boy Beck (Avan Jogio, Spectacular!), eccentric Cat (Ariana Grande, Broadway's 13) and lovable by psychologically scrambled ventriloquist Robbie (Matthew Bennet). TWLOHA is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide.

Big Time Rush & Victorious Stars Get a Brain Surge!

Carlos Pena, Ariana Grande, Matthew Bennett, Elizabeth Gillies and Kendall Schmidt all gather in a group pic backstage before they go on to compete on BrainSurge.
The quintet were also joined by pals Daniella Monet and Nathan Kress.
Carlos tweeted, “just got back from filming an episode of BrainSurge!! best time ever.. cant wait for you guys to see it.”
Daniella echoed his enthusiasm, posting, “About to the hit the super sweet BrainSurge set!!!! Can’t wait!!!! SOOO excited!!!! I can’t say who won… But it’s going to be a VERY entertaining episode.”

Victoria Justice: The Bird Scene Struggle

 Daniella Monet pokes fun at on-screen sister Victoria Justice in this new still from their new series, Victorious.
In the new episode “The Bird Scene,” Tori (Justice) goes all out to master an iconic Hollywood Arts monologue in Sikowitz’s class. She must successfully perform the piece before she is allowed to audition for any of the other shows at Hollywood Arts. Through this test, Tori learns that being a great artist is about being confident in your own choices despite what other people think.
Meanwhile, Andre and Robbie (Leon Thomas, Matthew Bennett) join a ballet class to meet girls with disastrous results. Tori also needs to decorate her locker (a requirement for each student at the school) and each of the other students has their own opinion of how it should be done. - Just Jared Jr.

Victorious TOPS Total Viewers In Timeslot

 Nickelodeon’s latest live-action hit Victorious claimed victory with its Sunday (April 11) premiere in its regular time slot (8-8:30 PM ET/PT), topping all basic cable programming in its time period with total viewers (3.5 million, +26%). The new prime-time series also bested all broadcast and basic cable programming in its time period with kids 6-11 and tweens 9-14. Starring Victoria Justice,
Victorious earned a 6.4/1.4 million K6-11, 6.2/1.3 million, tweens 9-14 and 3.5 million total viewers, and posted double-digit gains of +42% (K6-11), +68% (T9-14) and +26% (P2+) over last year. Nick closed the week (4/5/10-4/11/10) as basic cable’s number-one network in total day with double-digit gains in delivery of +10% among kids 6-11 (3.1/676,000 million) and +20% with tweens.

Booboo Stewart snaps a pic with one JJJ fan during his meet and greet at Richmond Mall in Vancouver over the weekend.
The 16-year-old Eclipse star will be taking part in Inspire mag’s “Inspire a Little Love” event NEXT Friday. Together with To Write Love on Her Arms and celebrity figures, the event is to raise awareness for those suffering from depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. Help is always available.

'Victorious'

Think 'Glee' and 'Hannah Montana' for new Nick sitcom with music Reason to watch: Live-action sitcom with musical elements, and, of course, you're thinking "High School Musical" and "Hannah Montana," and should. Sony Music is the co-production partner, so Nick will also be looking for some iTunes love shortly.
Starring: Victoria Justice, who played Lola on the Nick hit "Zoey 101." Justice is considered a triple threat — can sing, act and dance.
What the show's about: Tori (Justice) is a bubbly, sweet, pretty teen whose older sister, Trina (Daniella Monet), is the family drama queen and attends a performing arts school called Hollywood Arts. Trina's got a voice to match her personality — big and brassy — but preparing to enter the "Showcase" performance competition, her tongue swells to three times its normal size. Tori is called in last second and, naturally, she's brilliant.
Longish story shortened: She gets an automatic admission to Hollywood Arts, where her classmates range from the neurotic — like Cat (Ariana Grande) — to the cute — like Beck (Avan Jogia), whose girlfriend is an Alpha Female with a not-nice streak.
